West Harris, President of Harris Tynes Commercial Real Estate– formerly Harbert Realty Services– represented the seller of a ±115 acre development site located in a high growth corridor in Chelsea, Alabama. The property was purchased by Harris Doyle Homes who plans to build high-quality, single-family homes on the site.
The property is ideally located along Highway 11 in Chelsea, Alabama, adjacent to Chelsea High School and Chelsea Sports Complex. Highway 11 boasts traffic counts of over 11,795 and serves as a connecting artery between I-65 and Highway 280.
“Harris Doyle Homes has done an outstanding job incorporating feedback from the community and city leadership into their master plan for the development site” stated West Harris. “The developer is planning lots of green space, some water features and great access to and from the site.”
Original plans for the property were adjusted to accommodate city moratoriums on high density residential developments.
“Chelsea Highlands represents a significant investment into the community of Chelsea and Harris Tynes is proud to play a small part of this key residential development that will serve the city’s growth for many years to come,” West Harris affirmed.
