A former NFL player is bringing a new food store to Vesta, a 318 unit mixed use-development located on Highland Avenue in the Five Points area. Karlos Dansby – Birmingham native, NFL veteran and former Auburn University linebacker – is chief executive officer of Dansby Foods, which will occupy 6,500 SF in the retail portion of Vesta. The store will be full-service but will cater to quick-serve purchases. Harbert Realty Services‘ Senior Vice President Dean Nix represented the landlord in the deal.
